Bob Dickie is a certified electrical/mechanical technologist in the province of Ontario for over thirty years. Bob is also a TSSA licensed Ski Lift and Amusement Ride Inspector. He has spent most of his working career in the industrial sector managing and working with a highly skilled group of engineers and skilled trades, designing, building, installing and repairing custom machinery for companies world wide.
In the housing industry he has built
one house and renovated four. His graduating technical
thesis in 1976 was on alternate forms of energy for
use in residential housing. Bob is still a strong
advocate of energy conservation and green construction.
Bob is a CEA (Certified Energy Advisor) with Natural
Resources Canada providing auditory services through
Greensaver.

Advisors offer professional quality service with quick
turnaround times. A home energy audit includes an
energy evaluation of your home, identifying areas
where energy efficiency or comfort can be improved.
You will receive a detailed, prioritized report identifying
recommended home upgrades such as: heating and cooling,
doors and windows, insulation and draft proofing.
The audit includes an EnerGuide label indicating the
homes energy efficiency rating.
Associate Members
Bob is a member in good standing with the Ontario
Association of Home Inpectors (OAHI) since 2004
and an Associate Member since 2006.
Associate Members have finished the mandatory educational requirements of becoming an RHI, however may not have yet finished the required number of paid inspections or the required technical background upgrades. Associate members must also complete annual educational updates in order to maintain this designation.
RHI (Registered Home Inspector)
Bob has completed all the educational and experience requirements for full RHI status (Regstered Home Inspector) and will complete the necessary field experience in 2009.
This is the highest level of accreditation. These Inspectors have achieved the highest level of educational requirements as set by the association and performed a predetermined number of paid inspections. They must also complete annual educational updates in order to maintain this designation.
WETT Inspection
Bob is also a WETT certified for inspections
of woodstoves, fireplaces and chimneys and is an EnerGuide
Auditor, Energy Auditor and a Septic Inspector.
